Here is the main issues I am having so far.. 1- Quite a few of my linux servers are showing the interfaces as operationally down but administratively up. (RHE4 boxes) This is happening on. when I run the snmpwalk against those devices that show operationally down on zenoss, it show up on snmpwalk..??
2- Some of my linux boxes show the ifInOctets with negative values. Which really sucks cause my graphs are so screwy now. Traffic is negative WTF.... I know I can remove those negative values using rrdtool, but that is not going to fly in our production environment. (RHE5 boxes, but not all RHE5 boxes) ALL devices are using the default templates for ethernet. Now my Zenoss server is a x86_64 box running the 64bit rpm. running zenoss 2.1 This might not be a zenoss issue as it is only happening on a quarter of the boxes in our environment and the boxes are running either RedHat Enterprise 4_x86 RedHat Enterprise 4_x86_64 Redhat Enterprise 5_x86 Redhat Enterprise 5_x86_64 So this could be a snmp version differences???? Or is it that my Zenoss server is a 64bit box running 64bit version of zenoss.....??? _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
