I seem to have stumbled across what appears to have been a problem in 2.0.0,
presumably corrected in a patch, but I am in 2.1 beta, and am seeing the same
problem described by others earlier.

I can run autodiscovery on a network (or multiple networks), but it always
returns "0 ips in use". I'm also seeing frequent errors like:

2007-10-23 15:08:31 INFO zen File
"/usr/local/zenoss/Products/ZenStatus/Ping.py", line 160, in recvPacket
2007-10-23 15:08:31 INFO zen ipreply = ip.disassemble(data)
2007-10-23 15:08:31 INFO zen AttributeError: 'module' object has no
attribute 'disassemble'
2007-10-23 15:08:31 INFO zen ERROR:zen.Ping:receiving packet

I have checked the python source in the "fixed" versions (based on threads on
same topic), e.g., 2.0.6 with the python source I am using in the 2.1 beta for
the various ping modules and they all appear to be correctly patched.

As a matter of fact, I had been running the latest 2.0 release with it working
perfectly for autodiscovery, and then installed 2.1beta on top of existing
installation. Could this be the problem? (I did look for a warning somewhere
not to load on top of existing installation, but did not see one... that
doesn't mean it wasn't there, just that I didn't see one).

Thoughts?
