I am sorting this way: /Device/Ping/Website
All I want is to test website HTTP. Are you saying that adding the test to the built-in Device template will make '$devname' work? Zenoss works really well if you sort into server types, and then make a template for that server device subgroup. My hirarchy is Devices >> Servers >> type 1, type 2, type 3, etc. All of them have different templates, as well as the default ones that come with Zenoss. ‘/usr/local/zenoss/perf/Devices/$devname/httpCheck_time.rrd’ <--- will drive you crazy If you only have a few devices and want this check at this level, then just add to the default Device template, and it will add the checks to all the devices for you. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=12315#12315 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
