I am trying to setup an OS process monitor. Basically, in addition to checking my http server using an http connection, I want to check the actual process on the server as well. I assumed this is what the OSProcess is for and that it reads the hrSWRun table from SNMP. However, I add an OSProcess of httpd and add it to a host running httpd and I get an error that the process is not running. If I query the hrSWRun table, I see several httpd instances running. Any help on what is going on or how to configure this correctly would be greatly appreciated.
