The full BGP routing table consists of ~244000 routes. But I still don't understand, to which part of zenoss this problem is related to. It is clear that it's not problem with snmp, cisco, or the box itself.
I think the problem is how long it takes to actually walk the routing table in SNMP when it is that large. Do an snmpwalk on the device and time it. The default zCollectorClientTimeout is only 180 seconds.
