I had to do a
little more configuration to get mine to work. I told someone else
that I was going to write up how I did it and post it over the weekend,
but never got around to it. I'll start that now and get it up by the
end of the day. In the meantime, what I found worked for me was "pre-creating" the user in zenoss and assigning the proper Roles to the user (ie, ZenUser, ZenManager, and/or Manager) first. (I couldn't get ldap groups to work for this.) Then the user can log in and everything should be ok. Remember that if you hose your ldap authentication you can still log in with the Zope "admin" user. seth wright ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) windows engineer 540.568.2912 (office) james madison university Raj Gurung wrote: I am trying to integrate LDAP with zenoss for a while. I checked python-ldap is installed correctly. I referenced the following link from Zenoss documentation site. [ http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/howtos/how-to-authenticate-via-ldap/ ].My problem is: I could log in from the initial login page and enter but don't let me to click on devices, groups etc. It again asks me for a password, but the same username/password could not log in again. Has anyone had similar problem ? What might have gone wrong ? Thanks in advance... raj _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users |
