I;m sorry - I don;t actually have an answer for you... but... This may be related... there also appears to be a bug in repeating schedules - it seems impossible to set an alerting schedule to repeat with any value other than "1", meaning "every 1 week" or "every 1 month", everytime you enter something other than 1 and try and save it reverts back to 1.
I;ve made a couple posts regarding that problem in the past and they have also gone unanswered.
