hi, thanks for your reply. i find it strange that the servers have been added for days and still have not picked up yet. i thought i read somewhere that it polled every so often. at any rate, when i try to run the command you gave i got complaints about not being able to locate zenfunctions and then python. i had to create symbolic links for both in the /bin directory. now when i run the command i get the following that i am not sure how to solve...any thoughts?
/bin/python: can't open file '/Products/ZenWin/zenwinmodeler.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory that file does exist within the directory it states under the zenoss home directory.
