Update I have found Python 2.4.4 from IceWalkers http://www.icewalkers.com/rpm/python/fedora-core-6/download/python-25164.html
And was able to install the needed libs libdb-4.3.so is needed by python-2.4.4-1.fc6.i386 libtermcap.so.2 is needed by python-2.4.4-1.fc6.i386 But sense Python 5.6.1 is newer the 2.4.4 yum refuses to install it. When I try yum remove python 5.6.1 is also wants to uninstall an additional 133 packages. This I do not want to do.
