my os is mandriva corporate server 4. i rebuild the redhat el5 srpm and install the rpm in the system. it's not vmware image. i notice the wrong date at zenoss 2.1.1. sorry i forgot if it is correct
when i use 2.1.0.

This was likely a problem in any version. Zenoss uses the Zope DateTime module for its time zone implementation. It would appear that the Zope DateTime module doesn't have an entry for "Asia/Taipei". Would it be possible to set the system's time zone to GMT+8 instead? This is much more easily understood by Zope.
