I'm new to Zenoss and so far it's really been a great piece of software. I really appreciate the effort going into it. I'm running into a situation with Zenoss saturating my WAN connection due to all the polling of SNMP and WMI stats over my network. I have three other locations throughout the US that Zenoss is monitoring and this puts a pretty big burden on my WAN connection. Is there anyway to have Zenoss poll less often? If so where do I set that in the configuration?
You can set the polling intervals under the Monitors (Status and Performance). Just beware that when you change your performance monitoring cycle you will need to delete the RRD files so that they can be recreated with proper step and heartbeat values.
