So I've tried ZenOSS using the VM, and liked it, and decided to install on a linux box of it's own.
Now, I'm not the greatest linux guy in the world, but I can at least get around. I've been following the directions on this page to get to where I'm at right now : http://www.howtoforge.com/zenoss_network_monitor_ubuntu I've gotten to step 16, and it errors out almost immediately telling me that it requires Python 2.3 or 2.4.
