Can anyone help explain how the FileSystem template is bound to the filesystems detected using the HOST-RESOURCES mib. The template sits in the normal hierarchy but is not bound in the same ways as other templates such as the device template. It is bound to the FileSystem rather than the Device.
What I am trying to achieve is /Device/Server/Windows/FileServer use FileSystem1 template /Device/Server/Windows/SQLServer use FileSystem2 template I want to do this so I can have different device classes using different thresholds. I know it is possible to create a local copy but I would prefer a method to have specific settings for certain device classes. Is this possible?
