I saw that the ticket you made is for a future release. Is there anyway that we can some speed up the development off it? I have a client that relies on text messaging and the only way he can recieve text messages is via plain text messages to a cell phone message box.

Please let me know what it takes to speed it up.

The ways to speed up a feature addition are very straightforward. Either submit a patch for it or become a customer. Of course if you can rally a lot of people behind your cause it can also be helpful. However, this particular feature is quite easy. In fact there's a changeset that implements it attached to the ticket if you'd like to have the functionality before version 2.2.
