I had to move my Mysql data directory to another disk entirely along with /home. The VMWare appliance package of Zenoss only comes with a 1GB partition which gets the application up and running but is WAY too small. I wish the Zenoss Core Appliance for VMWare would be say another 9 GB or larger!
Has been a total pain as I had had to create new disks and move things around to make space as / would always fill up. Not sure if you are using the VM instance or not..but above is what I had to do. And just this AM had to move the Mysql data directory to my extended volume. Done by shutting down zenoss, stopping mysql (which wasnt as easy as I had hoped), moving the data dir, vi /etc/my.cnf for new path and creating a symlink just in case to the original location. Then started everything back up. Also check /tmp for any incomplete zenoss backups tmpXXXXXXX and nuke those.
