Does anyone read and understand that it is Zope 2.x that doesn't support Python 2.5? There ought to be a sticky about that, and why it will need a large rewrite to change Zope versions? (Unless I am very confused).

We're looking for some community input regarding our support for Zenoss Core.
If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to leave them here.

What is needed most is full support for Ubuntu. That means, at least:

1. binary 32-bit and 64-bit deb packages
2. inclusion in ubuntu repos
3. support for python 2.5

To make it easy for folks to get started, ubuntu users (whether dapper, feisty,
gutsy or hardy including jeos) must be able to install zenoss with the single
command:

sudo apt-get install zenoss
