I found my problem. When I moved the instance of zenoss from the previous server, I attempted to reload it with all of my previous data. That didn't work so I started from scratch but didn't completely remove the data that I imported. It still had the perf data from RRD graphs and it was erroring out saying it that "This RRD was created on a different architecture (which is true as the previous server was a 64 bit install of centos). I removed all of the perf data under /opt/zenoss/perf/Devices and it all seems to be working now. :)
