... Does silence mean that there is no ability to do this through the API? if so can someone confirm this? Because if there's no way to do this then i dont need to spend days and days searching and testing things to try and get this to work.
The only other option is to setup a NFS between servers and access the rrd files directly... but this seems like an ugly solution to me, and opens up several more points of failure if anything happens with the servers, including upgrades, redistribution of resources, or even simple firewall problems (which seem to occur every once in a while).
