I have been running a script to check the queues on my exchange servers and everything looked like it was going well until I started poking around in the history today. Many times I get events saying that the command timed out and then the name and path of the command is listed ...that is alright ( I would prefer to figure out why it times out but that is better than what happens next).
The problem comes when the command succeeds. When this happens the entire command line is put into the summary...including the login and password: Cmd: $ZENHOME/libexec/check_exchange_mailq.sh 'domain/login' 'password' 'EXCHANGE00' Can some one please point me in a direction to remove this info from the events? I know that I could hard code the login info into the script but it is more flexible to grab it from the zWinUser and zWinPassword fields.
