Hey gang, so I upgraded to enterprise and I'm having some troubles
with zenwinperf. The first problem is I get this message when
zenwinperf daemon starts
zenwinperf.conf not found skipping
which I believe may have something to do with why I'm not getting
any winperf data (second problem). Anyone have any pointers on the
winperf.conf? I've added an empty file and that stopped the message
from occuring, but still no winperf data. Does anyone know how I
can test or even what log files zenwinperf data might show up in?
the obvious one, zenwinperf.log, has nothing of interest in it.
Google left me high and dry.
There's not much information on the Enterprise-specific features on
the forum or Google. The message about the file being missing is
really just a warning and won't prevent anything from working.
Creating a blank file is a perfectly good way to make it stop
complaining.
Why it isn't collecting data wouldn't be related to that file though.
You'd want to check out $ZENHOME/log/zenwinperf.log for debugging
information here. Or as with the other daemons you can run "zenwinperf
run -v 10" to get even more debugging information.
