Hello, all

I'm new to ZenOSS and so far I like what I've seen. I specially like the fact
that I don't depend on a client installed on the monitored machines since
almost everything is modeled using SNMP and WMI (the administrators of some of
the servers I need to monitor are very prickly when it comes to installing
anything on their machines).

There are a couple of details I don't quite understand when it comes to graphs,
however. What is the relationship between "Graph points" and "graph custom
definition"? The way I understand the manual, Graph point provides the data to
graph and custom graph does the actual graphing. But if this is so, why have
parameters like "line type", "color" and the like in graph point?

Toying with settings (thank god for "create local copy") makes me believe that
those parameters in Graph point do nothing. Also, some variables don't seem to
be working on the custom graph definition.
CDEF:percent=usedBlocks,${here/totalBlocks},/,100,* doesn't actually do
anything. The resulting graph is the usedBlocks and not the calculated
percent. This might be a bug on this version (I haven't tried the previous
ones).

I'm also trying to create a graph reflecting the disk usage in bytes, instead
of blocks. I can achieve that by multiplying blocks by 4096, but this value
might vary depending on the filesystem. Zenoss displays the value in the
filesystem section of server/os, but is this value collected somewhere or is it
hardcoded? I can't find references to it.

I appreciate any help you can provide. Likewise I'd be happy to help the
community in any way I can.
