We had have a very good experience with CentOS 5.1 It is essentially the same
as RedHat Enterprise 5.1 The CentOS people take the freely available source
from RHEL, recompile it with their branding. CentOS now has an excellent update
infrastructure. We have been very happy with it. It is easy to work with for
those that are new to linux. It is stable and enterprise worthy. try it ...

Subject: [zenoss-users] Choosing an OS

Hello All,
I am hoping to install and configure a Zenoss server and was
wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to what the easiest to
install/configure Linux distribution is?

I have very little previous Linux experience (mostly in Unix) so i dont have
any preference but only free distro's please.

Thanks in advance
