That is informative, and I appreciate the response.
However, in this one situation I'd like to just disable the
threshold so it doesn't generate any events and make the location
show up with a red dot and all the other repercussions.
I tried going to More > Templates on the device, making a local copy
of "Device" and disabling the threshold. That didn't get rid of
it. I then deleted the threshold altogether and that didn't get rid
of it either. I then removed the local copy and just disabled the
threshold on the main template and that didn't remove it. I used
"push changes" between all of those changes, though to be honest I'm
not sure whether that's necessary or not.
There were two changesets included in the recent 2.1.2 release that
address these delete/disable threshold issues. r7727 and r7768. The
easiest way to get them is to upgrade to 2.1.2.
