Alright, I know, still v1.1.1 but haven't had the time to get v2.1.1 into production. Now I have a problem with v1.1.1.
I had a /Devices/Servers/Windows Non-Informant class that I have a bunch of server that we are monitoring for our client in there and they didn't want to have the Informant installed on them for a while so I customized the class to give me cpu stats without the Informant. Now we have the Informant installed on the machines that we are monitoring and I selected the devices in the Non-informant class and moved them to /Devices/Servers/Windows. There are other windows devices in that class that are being monitored no problem but when I moved the devices into that class all of a sudden on all the devices that I moved into there I have "snmp agent down on device X" (X being the device name of course). So now I have a large problem as these devices NEED to be monitored by snmp and I have 6 hours to to figure it out. I have tried: Moving the devices back to the Non-Informant class then back into the Windows class, no change Modeling the devices in either class and back into the Windows class, no change. Moving back into the Non-Informant class, no change. Restarting the zenoss process daemons, no change. I don't know what else to try. These classes are virtually the same except some PerfConf settings. Please please help me here. Thanks. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=14629#14629 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
