I've been using zenoss for a while and it's a great monitoring tool. There's one issue that I can't figure out. This is happening on our production box running 2.0.4 and on my test box running 2.1.1. When I set a device or group of devices in Maintenance mode, I'm still getting pages and emails. My work around is restarting zenping, then it works. But I don't want to restart zenping everytime I change production state. Any help is appreciated.
This is a known issue. It is documented in ticket #2370 and fixed in changeset r7693. Unfortunately this changeset did not make it into the 2.1.2 release, but I have proposed it for inclusion in the next maintenance release. It is a one line fix and I've linked to the changeset below if you'd like to apply it to your system.
