I have downloaded the ZenOSS VM 2.1.2 and have it running on my ESX Server (VI3).
However since I don't have dhcp enabled on my server network and it wanted to download stuff on initial power on, I powered it on on my desktop in VM Workstation, so it could get an ip from dhcp. However it also got a name at that time from a reverse dns lookup. Makes sense, but now after moving the VM to ESX and changing the IP address/name I'm getting events on the zen modules under the origional name, and it's not a device under devices. How can I stop it from trying to monitor itself under the origional name. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
