hey people, im seriously.. All of you working in zenoss, is it too hard to say how you enter web interface of zenoos?
I have installed everything, started zenoss, it didnt show any error messages [EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# service zenoss start Daemon: zeoctl . daemon process started, pid=8992 Daemon: zopectl . daemon process started, pid=9002 Daemon: zenhub starting... Daemon: zenping starting... Daemon: zensyslog starting... Daemon: zenstatus starting... Daemon: zenactions starting... Daemon: zentrap starting... Daemon: zenmodeler starting... Daemon: zenperfsnmp starting... Daemon: zencommand starting... Daemon: zenprocess starting... Daemon: zenwin starting... Daemon: zeneventlog starting... Daemon: zenwinmodeler starting... only one thing that im not sure about is when i first time started zenoss, it showed me error message about connection to mysql. I read somewhere in forum that i need to do 1. You need to "export MYSQL_PWD='yourPassword'" before installing. 2. Run "touch /opt/zenoss/.fresh_install" then run "service zenoss start" as root if the Zope stuff doesn't get installed correctly by itself.
