I'm Running a few clustered zenoss instances. One of them contains an enterprise version but to give you an idea one of my cluster contains approx 140 devices and LOTS of checks using nagios scripts and ofcourse all things that are collected every 5 minutes.
I have 3 network interfaces connected to the cluster eth0, eth1 and eth2 Herby an avg troughput eth0: 1,5 to 2 Megabits/sec flat eth1: 3 Kilobits/sec flat eth2: 2 Kilobits/sec flat My cluster contains 2 nodes: 1 hardware server Intel Quadcore Xeon @ 2,66 Ghz and 4GB ram 1 virtual server: ESX server dependant but all of the machines are 2,5 years old When all services are up and running on the brand new one I have: Load avg 0.5 cpu 30% flat, peaks to 40% 2 GB of memory in use so really no issue about this The virtual server is a lot slower, I get this: Load avg 2,2 CPU 55% flat peaks to 70% Hope this helped -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=14938#14938 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
