We just recently installed Zenoss Core 2.1.2 on openSuSE 10.2. All fresh install, everything working great.
I have now received the news that 2.1.70 is available and am interested in upgrading, but we've never done this. Is it simply a question of downloading the new source tarball and running the ./install.sh script to upgrade? No chance that it will overwrite any of my configurations? Just in case, is it feasible to stop all the Zenoss services and copy the /usr/local/zenoss directory as a backup? Any other directory I should copy? Thanks!
