In 2.1.7 packet over sonet interfaces no longer show up as type pos. This alone is not a problem but now they show as Packet over SONET/SDH Interface . The problem with this is that when I try to change the template name to this for the performance graphs it give me an error that there are invalid characters for a url. Any ideas?
Check out $ZENHOME/Products/DataCollector/plugins/zenoss/snmp/ InterfaceMap.py. If you search for SONET in there you'll eventually find the SONET/SDH label. You can change that to something that a template can be named, such as "Packet over SONET" then save the file, reload zope "zopectl restart" and remodel the device. You'll see that it now has this type.
