All, I have done quite a few searches on this and cannot seem to find a relevant post. What I have is a group of hosts where I check the status of IpServices. I have created two alerting rules that are identical in most respects, except that one sends an e-mail and the other sends an e-mail to a pager (using the Address option in the rule).
I want the e-mail to go out between 0700 and 2359 and the page to go out between 0000 and 0659 each day. So I created "Active Periods" for each of the rules that reflect these time frames. The problem is that the rules are not honoring the active periods, so regardless of the time of day I get both the e-mail and the page. Any thoughts? I am running Zenoss 2.1.2.
