[quote="SolMan"]Hi,

Here's how I stop Zenoss:

1. su zenoss
2. /usr/local/zenoss/bin/zenoss stop

I have tried 'make clean' (had to be root) to remove it, but it is still there
& my reinstall attempt failed.

Let me know if you solve this.

I was able to successfully use make clean, or at least it looked like it
succeeded. You should remember to unlink /usr/bin/python and relink it to the
python2.4 directory for copiling, and then relink to python2.5 after compiling.
 Still, after I did the reinstall, the database still held the contents it did
before I reinstalled Zenoss. I suspect I need to use a command particular to
MySQL.

Daniel
