We are an ISP and I use Zenoss for my entire infrastructure. When we have a work order to disconnect service, we typically will configure the client's device to disconnect service. Many times the devices are powered off or unreachable if the client moves and takes the equipment with them. Is there a way in Zenoss to set up a sort of reverse availability monitor? I want to be able to enter IP addresses that may not even originally be in Zenoss and have them watched in the off chance that a new tenant trys to reconnect the device or they try to only plug it in during off hours. I would like the down state to be normal for the device and have an alert if it gets changed to an up state. Any suggestions?
