Thanks.. I have created an 'IBMDeviceMap.py' based on the
DellDeviceMap.py. Do I need to create the __init__ scripts for this
modeler, or is that only for creating a ZenPack? What else do I
need to make this modeler work, and to compile it?
Here's the best way to do this:
1. Create a ZenPack named IBMMonitor from the ZenPacks tab of Settings
in the UI
2. Copy your IBMDeviceMap.py into $ZENHOME/Products/IBMMonitor/modeler/
plugins
3. Restart zope "zopectl restart"
4. Begin using your IBMDeviceMap within zCollectorPlugins
As an added benefit your ZenPack is now ready to be exported as a
ZenPack including your modeler plugin whenever you choose to do so.
