I think to replicate this problem you go to: settings / users / add a group --> then add some users to that group. I then created alerts for the group. The first alert I wasn't sure if it was working so I set the alert to be = to each thing. for example:
severity = clear severity = warning severity = error severity = critical instead of using the severity >= clear It appears that after doing that the error in my first post then appears. But I don't know how to fix this.
