Hi all,

I wonder if there's a sane and robust way of getting a useful(*) graph of
hits/s for apache and similar. This is for medium scale hosting, servers with
several apaches and or tomcats running in parallel on different ports so I'd
really like a robust and easily maintained way.

(*) What I consider sane here is not "hits since apache was started two weeks
ago" but "hits/s in a fairly short time span", like since the last check. This
will be for on one hand SLA-calculation, generating reports like "if hits/s is
> x then any response time is acceptable, otherwise response time must be lower
than y", but also for general monitoring seeing if there are potential
DOS-attacks and similar.

Thanks in advance
