I have been setting up Zenoss to alert staff members when a particular service 
on a machine goes down.  In my testing i have seen a lot of false postive 
emails, for instance:

Device: rakis.myhost.com
Component: smtp
Severity: Critical
Time: 2008/02/25 19:56:32.000
Message:
IP Service smtp is down


Event: 'IP Service smtp is down'
Cleared by: 'IP Service smtp back up'
At: 2008/02/25 19:57:20.000
Device: love.totalmanaged.com
Component: smtp
Severity: Critical
Message:
IP Service smtp is down


Looks like Zenoss reported it going down at 19:56 and then cleared it at 19:57 
however the actual service was not down.  Is there anything I can do to prevent 
this from happening on a regular basis?   I think i remember reading something 
about this but can't find the reference to it.

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
