As I understand it, you can hack something together for the Core
version, and it was sort of described in old forum/mailing list posts.
However, in terms of support, you are right, it is supported in the
Enterprise version, though which version you need is unclear to me.

My company (AdBrite) has been evaluating Zenoss Core 2.1.1 for a few weeks and we've been pleased with the performance and ease of use. We have datacenters located around the world and are looking to deploy Zenoss Status monitors in each datacenter. We'd like to have the ability to view those status monitors in one central 'vewing' server, if you will.
It's obvious that you can set remote status monitors, but it's not obvious how
to do it. I'm also not entirely sure that this is even supported or functioning
as I expect it should.
I've been digging around and see that there is no official documentation on how
to set remote status monitors. I've seen tidbits of information about setting
the 'hubhost' directive in conf files, but that hasn't had the desired effect.
With that said, I have a feeling this feature is only supported and documented
in the Enterprise edition. If I could get some sort of official response on
this, I'd appreciate it. We've tried to contact sales on the issue (email and
phone), but haven't received any response. Thanks!
