If I want to create a way to parse certain SNMP OID values and then have
proper data points for each entry.

In this example I have a MIB Table that has multiple entries (1,3,15,23)
with values I want to have datapoints on (.2.3.4,.2.3.5, etc)

I know I can statically setup the data in a perf template. But I would
like Zenoss to walk the value and create an entry for each instance.

I know the file system and interface collectors basically do this but I
have some questions:

1. Is this only available in a custom collector?(I don't want to a
command if I can help it)
2. And if I do write a custom collector, where is a good (really)
example?
3. Also, how would I make an additional tab or section in a tab
where I can display the instances?

Thanks and I promise if I go through the work, it will get put in a
ZenPack
