Hello friends,
I have a couple of linux servers (about 30), and some other Windows and MacX
(just 2 and 3) . I want to do a discovery network, obviously to have a map and
all the information of those servers. Questions:

1.- How can I discover all the linux servers with ssh? As I understand form the
manual I have to fill out the zCommandPassword, zCommandUsername, and add the
zCollectorPlugins, in Classes | Devices | zProperties , so it will use this
username and password in the next "Discover Devices" (under Network window).
What is the correct way to do it? I don't want to start setting up snmp in all
of the linux servers, knowing that I don't really know what Ihave in my network
(including virtual servers), and also becuase most of them have direct access
form the internet.

2.- I would like to do the same with the Mac and Windows Servers but they are
not that important, so I can do it one by one.

3.- The windows and Mac clients are not too important for me but it would be
great to have discovered as well. (at least in the network map)

Reading about the comments, Zenoss looks great, and I would like to enjoy it as
much as the users that made the comments
