Hello, when you set up Zenoss in a production environment, you probably do not want to lose/miss events that occur during an upgrade/outage. How would you set up Zenoss with a backup system running a copy of the main Zenoss installation?
One could probably set up MySQL replication for the events. Set up Heartbeat (www.linux-ha.org) thus Zenoss' services like ping and snmp polling are started (which obviously should not run on both boxes simultaneously, should they?)? How would you deal with rrd files? Is it possible to replicate the ZODB? Any other ideas? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=17077#17077 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
