So, on Linux servers, it always has extremely low free memory. This is, as I understand it, by design. Linux will use available memory for filesystem cache etc. On Windows systems, we can see the amount of free memory excluding caches, again by design of the OS I think.

Is there a way to get into Zenoss the amount of memory that is not application allocated memory? Otherwise, there doesn't really seem to be anything useful in tracking free memory on a Linux system, it's always ~ 20MB...
