I've currently got v2.1.71 installed.

When I tried to do "rpm -Uvh zenoss-2.1.72-0.el5.i386.rpm" it complained with:

Code:
error: Failed dependencies:
zenoss = 2.1.2 is needed by (installed)
zenoss-core-zenpacks-2.1.2-0.i386

I should mention that although I'd had 2.1.2 installed previously, I had done a
full wipe of all Zenoss rpms, even wiping /opt/zenoss just for good measure.

After that came v2.1.71, then zenoss-core-zenpacks, then Zenoss-Plugins.

Curiously, when I installed zenoss-core-zenpacks-2.1.2, it didn't complain that
zenoss 2.1.2 wasn't there. Meaning, it seemed okay with 2.1.71.

It's unclear to me whether the 2.1.72 rpm is at fault (it doesn't appear to be)
or whether somehow the zenoss-core-zenpacks rpm is to blame (which seems to be
the case).

I'm tempted to uninstall zenoss-core-zenpacks just to get past this (and
reinstalling after I get v.2.1.72 installed), but of course I risk breaking
stuff.

Thoughts?
