Make sure SNMP is enabled on the machine and that your zenoss box is in Traps/Security tab of the SNMP service.
Also, go to Devices and then zProperties. Down near the bottom of the page you will see zWinUser and zWinPassword. These are the credentials Zenoss will use to connect to a Windows machine and poll for additional information. I've been using the WindowsWMIDeviceTemplate ZenPack as the default performance template on my Zenoss install and it works great for my Windows boxes. Good luck!
