I put zenoss on a crappy old desktop machine in my cube and got most of it working pretty good. A quick top command showed me that mysql was pushing the poor thing hard. So I ran down to the data center and dropped in an Ubuntu server disk in a Dell 850 figuring I would build zenoss on a real machine and see how well it worked when this problem shows up.
I almost had Johns Hopkins using zenoss. . . .but it is real hard to show them what it can do when the install fails like this.. . . . and no one in the developers side can take the time to at least make sure the base install works. tsk tsk. Another case of stepping over a $100 bill to save a dime I guess. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18198#18198 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
