I'm running the VMware 2.1.3 image that was supplied from the Zenoss.com
website.

I'm having a hard time getting the zenbackup command to work (admittly I'm a
total linux noob, so that may be the problem).

Here is what I'm doing and the error I get.
I login to the VMware image as root
then issue the following commands

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# su zenoss
bash-3.00$ cd $ZENHOME
bash-3.00$ cd bin
bash-3.00$ ./zenbackup
/bin/bash: /root/.bashrc: Permission denied
./zenbackup: line 13: /bin/zenfunctions: No such file or directory
./zenbackup: line 14: /Products/ZenUtils/ZenBackup.py: No such file or directory

I get the exact same message if I try the zenbackup --help command, so it seems
to be a permissions issue.

Again this is the base VMWare image and I haven't done anything extra to it.
What step am I missing?

Thanks
