I have bonded ethernet ports (eth0 and eth1) which are both 1 Gig ports. The bonded interface is bond0, and shows up as 10 Mbps in SNMP. The problem is that I this interface is exceeding the threshold set for the ethernetCsmacd type interfaces. I created a template "bond0" so that I can remove the threshold, but I can't figure out how to change the interface Type.

Does anyone know how to do this, so that when I model, it will assign all bond0 interfaces to type bond0 instead of ethernetCsmacd?

This is a common problem with bond interfaces on Linux. Check out the article below for a way to correct the ifSpeed reported by these interfaces.
