I am toying with the idea of checking the status of IPTables on our
Linux systems. Off hand, I don't see any obvious way of checking the
status of iptables via snmp. I can write a custom script to check the
status and report back through SNMP, but I was wondering if there was
anything more obvious that I was missing?
