Well, I've had a number of problems with this specific issue - bad oid - so I'm just sharing what I've found. In general, I'm a flailing novice when it comes to zenoss, unfortunately. I was basing my suggestion to name the template the same as the object name since that's what I've had success doing in the past, but I agree with your assessment that it would be messy and gross. I'm guessing the "type" that cluther was referring to is the interface type for a particular interface - I've had to create about a dozen specific templates for various interface types since by deafut zenoss appears to apply ethernetcsmacd to everything from atm controllers to t1 wics. Perhaps this is a stupid question, but you do have that MIB (CISCO-PROCESS-MIB) loaded, correct?
