Hello, thanks for useful reply. When I set up a trap monitor on irreasoning mib browser, it successfully brings to account how many psu, and status on / off in the trap:
Source: 80.xx.xx.xx Timestamp: 339 hours 4 minutes 49 seconds Enterprise: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.3 SNMP Version: 1 Specific: 5 Generic: enterpriseSpecific Variable Bindings: Name: .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.cisco.ciscoMgmt.ciscoEnvMonMIB.ciscoEnvMonObjects.ciscoEnvMonSupplyStatusTable.ciscoEnvMonSupplyStatusEntry.ciscoEnvMonSupplyStatusDescr.2 Value: (OctetString)Power Supply 2 Name: .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.cisco.ciscoMgmt.ciscoEnvMonMIB.ciscoEnvMonObjects.ciscoEnvMonSupplyStatusTable.ciscoEnvMonSupplyStatusEntry.ciscoEnvMonSupplyState.2 Value: (Integer)critical However, in zenoss; I can't find any of these variables. I've mapped the ciscoEnvMonEnableRedundantSupplyNotification to a class, but the information is not very helpful under there. I've also created an event that sends me a mail whenever this happens. Unfortunatly, it sends mail no matter what happens with either of the psu's. Does anyone know where I can go from here? Sorry, I'm a bit new on this. Thanks a LOT;=) \\markraves -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18641#18641 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
